I pray your weekend went well – and that you were able to enjoy deep relationships with others in a local church fellowship.

As we begin a new week, let’s consider for a moment our starting point.

Often when we walk into our classroom or workspace, we look around at what needs to be done. Good, that’s responsible. But when there’s seemingly too much, it becomes overwhelming. Perhaps only then do we think about bringing Christ into the mix.

Let’s risk changing our starting point. Instead of beginning with what we must do, start with our desire to let Christ be in the middle – motivating, inspiring, and accompanying us.  Then look at the “to do list.”  Start with the assumption that our spiritual commitment will frame our tasks.  Now we are living, not reacting.
